Wild and Barefoot Nature Groups
Wild and Barefoot Nature Groups meet once a week and follow our place-based nature curriculum. Groups alternate between meeting at a set location and an adventure day (within an hour of the set location). Explore places on
our adventure map with a community! The original Wild and Barefoot Nature Group started as a small group of homeschool moms that wanted to spend more time together in nature. This group evolved over the years to become a 501c3 non-profit organization that focuses on outdoor place-based learning.
Wild and Barefoot Estacada:
Roma Sidelinger is the founder and president of Wild and Barefoot. She is a homeschool mom that started the organization to find a community of like-minded families that love the outdoors. When she isn’t exploring with her three young sons, she is at the gym coaching jiu jitsu.
Niki Harris has over two decades of homeshooling experience and is a nature enthusiast. She is a local artist that caters to the homeschooling community with private and group classes. Focusing on nature is what Niki likes to do best.
Wild and Barefoot Washougal (†):
Hannah is homeschooling mom of four kids that was previously involved in Wild and Barefoot Nature Group. Her and her children found so much joy and fulfillment in the group that after moving to Washougal, WA she decided to partner with the organization and start one of her own. What will be unique about this group is it will be faith based and will be available to the families that want that perspective incorporated into their outdoor learning. Hannah studied children’s ministry at Biola University and soon after was married and had four children. She has a passion for homeschooling, community, going down rabbit holes of learning, and nature.
